life without a clock....

the first day in korea was a shocker....

my sister who came to korea a week before me, she's gone holidaying to Jeju island....
worse... she took the mobile phone that i was supposed to use when i got here.....

that means.... i dont have a clock..... i dont know the time......

the only clock that i have is the one on my laptop computer... but i used that to watch movies and tv shows while i was on the plane... so that's running out of battery....

i cant recharge my laptop coz the electrical powerpoint is different here to australia.... and i couldnt find an adaptor for it.... i spent the whole afternoon looking for a stupid adaptor so that i can recharge my laptop....

i dont even have enough korean money to buy a clock right now.....

cold feet.... -.-

with only roughly 12 hours before i have to board a plane to goto korea, im getting super cold feet about going...

i guess this has been bothering me for about a week now... but i guess its just gotten worse in the past few days... saying bye to friends has probably sparked it, coz it only seems like yesterday i came back to say hello....

its weird to leave home again after a few months back, and its really sad to leave my 2 lovely dogs again....

our church youth group camp is this weekend... i really want to go there too... i guess the people there have just started to gel together a bit, and its starting to become more of a group than it was a few months ago....

as for korea.... i dont know how i will manage living there.... coz when im there, im worried that im neither really korean, nor really a foreigner.... hmmm.... i guess there are friends from sydney who are in korea at the moment... as well as rory from china.... but i remember i used to get sick of korea after 2 weeks of holiday..... so having to live there.... and work there.... its definitely going to be tricky....

the rugby season is starting... the cricket season is finishing.... all the sports that im going to miss out on... my own baseball season... we are just one game out from the finals.... so its pretty crappy that i cant play in the semis for the team.... ah~~~~~~~!!!!!

going to korea mid-march, or april would have been just right..... dammit.... i dunno what im doing right now..... first time in a long time i've really felt..... numb in the head.....

My 25th Birthday..

Thanks for all the people who left me birthday messages...

25 now.... a quarter century!!! haha... that makes it sound so old~ maybe 25 is old...

well....

my plans are dinner with my family at night.... and thats about it... ^^
its my bday, so i'll do what i like to do... which is sweet f--k all... ^^

7 more sleeps until i goto korea.... not that excited anymore.... -.-

awesome part time job....

since last week, i've been doing an interesting part time job at a production place.....

they are preparing to film a tv commercial in korea, so we needed to find a mother teresa look-a-like.... that was pretty hard.... but now that we've found one, we need to find a president obama look-a-like....

also today, i went to the site where they were filming a music video.... saw a korean actress... who actually didnt look that pretty... and her personality sucked... she smoked like a chimney and drunk on the job..... the music video was co-ordinated by another korean singer's older sister.... that korean singer is a bit of an air head on tv.... well, her older sister is just as dumb, and due to her dumbness, the day was really fun....

ah~ this job is really cool.... it does require alot of hours during the day, and doing petty errands, but its still pretty interesting to be on site while they film stuff.....

well... its only a part time thing for me, because on the 23rd Feb... i will be going to korea....

oh... and today is Jan 15 on the lunar calendar... which is my bday ^^
